Back to Back with a 10 miler.

This has been a busy week already. The start to the week had highs and lows. I spent extra time with my family . That made the high points. the Boston Marathon news  caused the low points. And a distressing one also. We are now being targeted for attacks. The world is full of people with screwed up ideals.

Wednesday I woke up feeling like I wanted to run again. Just did an easy paced 10 miles through the dark roads of Canggu. This is a familiar route and is very quiet before the sun comes up. It gets too busy and polluted after sunrise, when it fills with smoking motorbikes and speeding tourist vans.

Thursday morning we had a birthday party at our son’s school. Then I went for an afternoon heat fest. The feels like temperature was 99F. I ran 5.5 miles before the heat stopped me. My run was along Seseh Road which had only minimal shade. Seseh Road is nice to run on any time of the day because it has very little traffic. But the heat made my run shorter than I had hoped.
