I have been spending my extra time continuing the Electronic Muscle Stimulation exercise program.
It has been a little painful due to the fact I am using different muscles than when I am running. It seems like my core and hips are getting a good workout. That is where the sore muscles are located.
The Trainer’s; Sami, Dewi, and Sophi have been great.
My running has been going ok for this maintenance period. Soon starts the long period of getting ready for the Tarawera Ultra 100k race.
Last week was the 1st Mt. Rinjani Ultra Trail Race. Runners had to climb to the top of Mt. Rinjani and then come back down.
Sounds like a great race to do some day. If I ever lose my mind enough to try something like that….
Mt Rinjani is 12,224 feet tall.
